The staff of AES, LLC has been designing, building and taking into operation Profile extrusion tooling for over 15 years. Combined, The AES management team, brings over 50 years of Profile extrusion industry experience to the table.
Profile extrusion is AES, LLC's "Bread and Butter". Each extrusion tool is designed from scratch incorporating the latest customer specific detail in the initial layout of the tool.
Extensive care is taken when calculating the proper "draw down" from extrusion die to first calibrator, then first calibrator to second calibrator all the way down to the stainless steel templates in the flooded water tank.
Each design is then double checked on our state of the art 3 Dimensional CAD system to make sure manufacturing and then tuning of the tool can be accomplished in the most effective manner.
AES strives to stay on top of new developments in the metallurgy department, because not only die design but also highest quality stainless steel grade such as 1.2316 is the key to fighting extrusion tool wear due to corrosion and abrasion.
